PREPARATORY FACULTY

How do you prepare for your studies in Russian universities, what is being taught and how long does the preparation take?

For foreign students who are non-Russian speakers or whose linguistic knowledge is low, universities offer them the opportunity to learn the language and also train them in their respective specialties for future studies.

WHAT IS TAUGHT IN THE PREPARATORY FACULTY ?

In addition to the Russian language, future students receive courses in certain main subjects according to the chosen future specialty.

HOW LONG IS THE TRAINING ?

Preparatory studies are planned for one (1) year or one and a half (1.5) years. During the preparatory year, you will have the opportunity to learn the Russian language at a level sufficient to study at a Russian higher education institution; obtain a certificate confirming your level of proficiency in the Russian language; receive training in relevant disciplines; familiarize yourself with Russian tradition; adapt to new living conditions.

PREPARATORY FACULTY FOR CONTRACT STUDENTS

For students on a self-funded basis, the preparatory faculty courses and their future study program take place at the same university. The advantage of going through the preparatory faculty at the university, where you plan to study eventually, is as follows:

·  First, the certificate obtained at the end of your preparatory faculty courses will ensure a good entry into the first year at the university;

·  Second, since these students are going to continue their studies at the same university, teachers are motivated to prepare them so that there are no difficulties encountered during the entrance examination in the first year.
