WHAT SHOULD I BRING ALONG ?

Studying in Russia is an unforgettable experience. It is therefore important to prepare well for your stay in Russia. Here are 9 (nine) tips to help you in your preparation, which will also be of great use to you.


1. Determine your budget

To start with, ensure you have enough fund to finance your trip - including other expenses that may arise during your stay. Some flight companies such as: BRUSSELS Airlines, TURKISH Airline, AIR FRANCE are recommended for a less stressful and well secured journey. Also, it is preferable to have some amount of money on you, in small denominations, and also a credit card for the most essential expenses if you are staying for a longer period.

2. Organize the transfer from the airport

To make your journey less stressful, it is best to entrust us with the organization of your transfer from the airport to your host city. This will save you a lot of time and energy, especially after long flight hours.

3. Cover your insurance needs

4. Copy important documents

5. Pack your luggage box

First, find out about the weight and size restrictions of the airline you will be traveling with. It is advisable to carry essential items, such as a coat, bonnet hat, jacket, and some money for other the winter clothes you may need to buy over there. Apart from the winter clothing, you may need to take some of your food preferences with you, for first days feeding before getting used to the Russian diet. It is important that you learn how to do some house chores, such as cooking, which would undeniably be a good asset for you.

6. Learn a few words in the local language

Traveling is much easier if you are already familiar with the new language and, even more, if you know a few sentences (long stays are an ideal way to improve your basic vocabulary). Language courses are therefore necessary for your stay.

7. Obtain necessary medical prescriptions

If you take some routine medications or wear contact lenses, make sure you have enough for the entire trip or have a prescription that you can use abroad (check policy terms with your insurance company.

8. Write down important numbers

Make sure to memorize or write down a few important phone numbers and passwords (or clues to help you find your passwords), so you can call and log in without worry.

9. Be optimistic
